Specify duration(s)

In this article, we will show you how to determine and select the time duration(s) for the quality check.

1. Determine data

Determine the data by selecting »Time Duration - TS«.

2. Select column

Select a column containing the interview durations.
The duration must be specified as a number, ideally in seconds.
Decimal numbers can also be used.

3. Further duration columns

If necessary and if available, you can determine further duration columns.

Tipp: If your survey contains several filter questions, causing the response times to vary greatly, we recommend selecting 3 to 5 question / section response times instead of the total interview duration (LOI).

4. Scoring groups

As a final step, you can enter a column for so-called »Scoring groups« if required. The interviews are grouped according to the variables in this column and analyzed separately.

The scoring groups can be applied if the response times of the participants cannot be compared. For example, if CATI and CAWI interviews are mixed or if there are major differences between the desktop and mobile versions of a survey.

5. Save

Complete this step by clicking »Save«.
