Weighting of projective questions

Estimated reading: 2 minutes

Summary: Here you will learn how to create weighting factors for each projective question.

It is also possible to create weighting factors using projective questions. The weighting factors are made up of Information-Score, Prediction-Score, Certainty-Score and Social-Desirability-Score This function is particularly suitable for identifying biases in questions that contain an additional projective question. To generate the weighting factors, please follow these steps:

1. Open weighting dialogue

  • Click on the button with the three dots to expand the menu.
  • Then select »Weighting«. The weighting dialogue opens.

2. Select projective questions for weighting

  • Click on the Button »Add projective-question-set«.
  • From the drop-down menu, select the projective questions that should be used to calculate the weighting factors.

3. Select Scores for the weighting

  • Once the desired projective questions have been selected, a tab with the corresponding name appears. Switch to this tab.
  • All Quality Scores available for the selected projective question set can be used for the individual weighting.
  • In this tab, select the Scores that should be used to calculate the weighting factors.
  • Confirm your selection by clicking on the button »Apply«.

  • The weighting factors are calculated and inserted into the data table as an additional column under the name »Weight«.
  • Unlike the weighting factor of the overall Quality Scores, the weighting factors of projective questions have no influence on the charts.
