Quota cleaning

In this article, you will learn how to cleanse a data file according to quotas. The data records that are least relevant for the fulfilment of the target quotas and also have the lowest R-Score are removed first.

1. Open cleaning dialogue

  • Select »Clean/Mark« from the menu at the top right of the application. The cleaning dialogue opens.

2. Select Quota target

  • As soon as at least one quota target is reached, quota cleaning is available as cleaning option.
  • Select the »Quota Target« option and confirm your selection by clicking on the green button »Apply Cleaning«.

  • The data records are systematically cleaned with the aim of coming as close as possible to the target values of the quotas.
  • In addition, those respondents with the lowest R-Score are always removed first.
  • We recommend always using this function as the last step in the cleaning process. The cleaning based only on the R-Score should already have been completed.
    • Previous cleansing activities are preserved. This means that data records that were removed in previous cleaning operations are not included again.
