Neue Keyingress – API Integration

In this step-by-step guide, you will learn how to link your survey in the keyingress survey software with ReDem in order to carry out a real-time quality check.

1. Log in to your ReDem account at https://app.redem.io/login Click on your profile name at the top right and select “Edit profile”

2. Copy the API key by clicking on the blue field next to it.

3. Switch to keyingress and open the “Functions” menu item.

4. Paste the API key into the “ReDem API Key” field.

5. Create a new survey in keyingress.

6. Enter a specific text for the ReDem Quality Check Screen Out in the menu item “Questionnaire”.

7. Activate the ReDem Quality Check in the “Quality” menu item by clicking on the box. The cleaning settings that are then loaded are recommended by us, but can be adjusted if necessary. Below these settings, you will find all the questions in your questionnaire that are suitable for a quality check. Activate the questions that you would like to use for the quality check. For open ended questions, the language and duplicate check are activated by default, the context check is deactivated. We recommend retaining these settings. Now save the settings to complete the link with ReDem.

8. Carry out a few test runs to check (one or two good and bad interviews). Check the results in keyingress under “Reporting & Export”. The “tan” corresponds to the interview ID, and the STC_ID indicates whether an interview is a quality screenout (code = 48) or not (code = 5).

9. Check the results of the quality check on the ReDem platform by clicking on “Show more” under “Datafiles” for the respective project.

10. Here you can delete your tests by clicking on the three dots at the top right and switching to the data table.

11. To delete your test data, you will find the keyingress “tan” in the ID column after the last hyphen. Select all interviews by clicking on the first box below the search field and then click on “Delete data records” at the top right.

12. After the field phase, we recommend ending the data import. To do this, click on the red button next to the project and then select “Stop data import”.
